As an extra precaution, write your name, cell phone number, e-mail address, city of origin, and your destination city on index cards and place one in each piece of your luggage. Although you probably have luggage tags with your contact details, sometimes they're torn off in transit. If your bag gets lost, this added protection will help to ensure that it you get it back.
