Is there a better way to kill time on an international stopover than duty-free shopping? (OK, you're right; chatting up a hot guy ranks slightly higher.) These glorious little havens have great gifts for family and friends (and you!) like jewelry, perfumes, liquor, candy, silk, and more. Be careful though. Although local and national taxes and duties are not applied to duty-free purchases, the products are't always necessarily cheaper than at home.
