Haggling seems to come natural to some people. And since it's pretty common in a lot of countries, a jet-setter-in-training needs to hone her skills so that she can stretch her budget. For those of us who struggle with haggling, the trick is to set the price that you're willing to pay, be prepared to pay in cash, stay calm, be polite and reasonable, and be willing to leave without the item. Lastly, if the item is fairly popular, check the prices at several nearby vendors before making your final decision.
